I've been tagged by AJ! Thanks sweetie!! I just love these kind of posts!
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I prefer wrapping paper for the kids(nothing like seeing them eagerly ripping into presents on Christmas morning) and gift bags for pretty much everyone else. Oh but I usually do wrapping paper for most kids unless the gift is like insanely hard to wrap then gift bags. lol
2. Real tree or artificial? Definitely artificial. Actually pre-lit which in theory is a great idea but in practice . . . not so much. Hard to the find the ONE freakin bulb that blew! grrrrrrrr
3. When do you put up the tree? First weekend of December.
4. When do you take the tree down? New Year's Day
5. Do you like eggnog? I like some eggnog. I like MOST eggnog with rum. Yum!
6. Favorite gift received as a child? My Holly Hobbie Kitchen. That was the best Christmas present ever!
7. Do you have a nativity scene? I don't. We did have one growing up and I wish I had that one. I should ask Dad about it next time I talk to him . . .
8. Hardest person to buy for? Other people's kids. I never know what they have or what they want.
9. Easiest person to buy for? Matthew(he gives me tons of ideas . . . daily) Mia and Gillian. Although poor Gillian isn't getting all that much this year. Sucks to be a baby and have an older sister pretty close in age! hehehe :P
10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Todd gets me these weird appliances that I do NOT ask for and would most certainly never make my list. One year he got me this rotating brush curling iron that tangled the crap out of my hair. Oh my it was awful!
11. Mail or email Christmas cards? Oh I've been so bad this year . . . I usually mail them but I only managed to get out the ones to friends and none to family! Ummmm oops!
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Gosh I love all the OLD Christmas cartoons like Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer and the original How The Grinch Stole Christmas. There is this one Christmas cartoon I'd love to see again but it hasn't been on in years. I think it was called 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. It was about this mouse who writes a mean letter to Santa Claus and then Santa is offended and decides not to come to his town on Christmas. The town gets the clockmaker to make this big clock that sings a song to get Santa to come back. Does anyone remember that show?
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? With three kids now I try very hard to start Christmas shopping early. This year I started buying some things in September and got the kids all done by mid-November. However I will be shopping to the very end as I still have a lot of gifts to buy for the rest of the family.
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? I have recycled chocolates for sure but honestly, how many boxes of chocolates does one family need?
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? I love everything too! but I really love all the special treats everyone has been baking! I think I'm definitely going to make these Oreo balls and Peanut Butter Tartlets!
16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? Coloured!(note the correct spelling there . . . hehehe)
17. What is your favorite Christmas song? here again I have to say I just love all Christmas songs. When I was younger I used to love God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Well it really depends on whether Todd is working or not. We have spent Christmas at home on the years he worked(which really sucked) and also we have travelled to relatives on the years he didn't work. Unfortunately he works nights on Christmas Eve so he will get home at 6 am Christmas morning, stay up long enough to open presents and then sleep for a lot of the day. Bummer.
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Oh yeah for sure!!
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? We have a star!
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Right now it's only on Christmas morning but in a few years who knows?
22. What I love most about Christmas? I have to agree that getting to together is the most important thing for me about Christmas. Presents are forgot but the memories of being surrounded by the love and warmth of family lasts a lifetime. :)
That was a blast!! Okay so I'm going to tag Amy, Kelly and Jessica!

Oh yay! I love the meme's also and I really enjoyed reading yours. You sure can learn alot about someone from a meme.
I'm sorry that Todd has to work Christmas Eve. My dad works the same shift as Todd and Jason usually does also but Jason has a company shut down week. So I can relate to the sleeping all day. I hope you still have a wonderful and blessed Christmas.
Thanks for the tag, but I think I will have to pass since most would consider our Christmas celebrations very boring. I would not be able to answer more than half of them and that is a boring read.
But any other meme's I come across, you will be my first tag. Your loyalty will be returned.
Um, oops...I double tagged with Amy and Kelly now. Hee hee! Those girls have no excuse now!
This meme was so fun. I always love learning more about Junie!
Hope Todd doesn't get you a crap appliance this year!
I love this meme. Super fun.
Thanks for the tag too! Meme's are so much fun. I love finding out more about each of yall.
Interesting way to spell colored! LOL.
And yep, Grace is in the same boat as Gillian as far as the gifts. I just can't justify buying almost the same toys when we already have them. And she won't know the difference!
Loved reading about your Christmas traditions! That's so funny that Todd gets your random appliances. At least he's trying though, right?
The mouse Christmas movie seems vaguely familiar, but I can't think of the name to save my life.
Hope your family has a terrific Christmas this year!!!
