Here's what I'm so excited about!!! This is the kids' playroom in the basement. We talked about having it finished with the builder and he preferred not to because of the drying process the basement needed to go through. He liked to give it a year before finishing the basement. So I figured we would still use the space as a playroom albeit unfinished. Though I was bummed I understood. This picture we took on Wednesday. I figured he was just "prepping" the room for future finishing until today when we went to take pics and saw this . . .
The basement playroom was drywalled!!!! Oh my goodness I'm so excited!! I'm glad that the kids are actually going to have a nice space to have their toys in!
The house with it's newest window(second floor octagonal window :)
The back door/laundry room
The kitchen
The family room
The dinette to the right
This is what the house looks like from the back at least. We opted for red reclaimed brick as it was $10-15,000 less. I'm actually very pleased by the way it is looking!

That looks so awesome. I am glad they put drywall up in the playroom. At least you can save some money by painting it later yourselves.
And that octagonal window is so cool. What a nice touch.
It is getting so close. I bet you are so excited. I also love the brick. I am getting a little jealous over here :-)
But very excited for you guys.
