Loose ends

Here's a pic of the kids visiting Santa's village. Mia didn't cry!! She loved it this year! Oh and Gillian looks so much like Matthew when he was a baby in this pic . . . it freaky!

I though I'd update a few things that have been kicking around although in some areas there isn't all that much to say!

Matthew:

We took him to the dr. on Tuesday and she asked us a bunch of questions and we basically outlined the issues we are having with Matthew at school. She thinks he may have a mild form of ADD/ADHD. There is such a huge spectrum and he may fall on the spectrum somewhere. She is going to refer us to a Behaviour Pedi. I didn't realize there was such a thing. Hopefully it won't be months and months before we see this person. I'll let you know.

House:

The roof is on and it's finally enclosed! Phew! the weather here is just terrible lately and it makes me feel better to know that they can start to work on the inside more regardless of the weather outside.

Gillian:

Gillian is starting to sit more consistently now but funny girl doesn't seem to like it much. Her nights are the same . . . at some point she wakes up and I bring her to bed with me. Then she either goes back to sleep or rolls around FOREVER. She's loving her foods! Well baby food anyway. Not so much Mum Mums or the mesh feeder. But she really likes her morning cereal, jar of fruit and jar of veggies! Yes, she's a big eater!

Mia:

Still not potty trained and really still not interested in it. I don't know what I'm going to do with that girl! She's growing up in so many other ways but just not this one. *sigh*

Me:

Still no af. Seems I'm not alone in this department. I tyried temping but Gillian doesn't allow me to have the proper amount of sleep. I was nauseous last Saturday and then today but actually today I am think it was more the flu because I had the ache/shakes, pounding headache, diarrhea as well as nausea. I don't have any other symptoms. No sore boobs or bloated abdomen. I guess I could test but I'm just afraid. I keep hoping af will arrive anytime. I am usually irregular but like I said before I'm actually more "regular" once af returns. Them it slowly goes back to the way it "normally" is. I'm also cheap and hate to waste the money especially if I am not pg.

I didn't realize there was a behavior pedi either. Interesting.

Sounds like a couple of our kids are the same. Not sleeping good and no potty training yet.

Glad to hear about the roof, and hope things progress quickly. And speaking of quickly, I hope you get your answers on Ms Flow soon.

Do you not have Dollar Tree up there? Those tests are really some of the more accurate on the market, and for only a buck. I'm nervous for you, though.

I hear ya on the sleeping, just wish I could say I had an eater like you. Oh well.

I'll be interested to hear how it goes with the next specialist for Matthew.

They are called Developmental Peds here. You fancy Canadians. LOL. Behaviour Ped sounds much more sophisticated.

I second the Dollar Tree test idea.

Katie is no where near PTing. Oh well! But I think all kids get to a point when they are ready. Mia will, too.

That pic is great!!

Good luck with the behav. pedi! We have had to wait months for appt's with specialists so hopefully yall won't have to wait too long.

I can't wait to see pics of the finished house! I am sure yall are getting so excited!

So glad Gillian is loving her foods. When Grace first started sitting she didn't like it much either, but after a week or so, she loved it! I am sure Gillian will be the same :)

Mia will definitley get there on the Pting. No worries :)

And I hope AF comes soon. I hear ya on not testing because of fear. Completely get that.

I can't believe you have the will power to not test! So weird that there's been several of you with late AF's lately. Hope she comes soon so you can quit worrying!

Very interesting about the behavior pedi. Hope they will be of some help.

Don't worry about Mia and the PT'ing. I was just at a mom get-together this morning and 2 of the women have 3 and a half year olds that aren't even close yet! You're definitely not alone.

Can't wait for your house to be done. So exciting!!!
