Long time . . . no blog.

It's been so long since I blogged! I hate to go this long but so much has been going on lately . . . and then I've had that "where do I even begin" feeling that I've avoided posting anything anywhere. I get like that . . . I feel so behind that I don't even know where to start so I opt to do NOTHING. I'm trying to work my way back in. It's hard though because schedules are off and I just feel so behind. I hate that feeling. It just makes me want to crawl into my shell and hide. I don't really know why. I'm going to get back to normal though soon. I promise!

Anyway, I start with Christmas I guess. Or rather Christmas Eve. That was fun. Todd was working . . . k that part wasn't fun but Mia was so into everything this year so THAT was fun. We kept checking out Santa NORAD this year and you just HAVE to checkout the excitement coming from Mia this year . . .

Last year she hated Santa(I have the picture with the red eyes to prove it) and didn't want anything to do with him coming to our house. This year, she is LOVING it! The Santa visit was a big hit and she is soaking up everything Christmas. I should have scanned the Santa pic but I'm lazy and didn't but even Gillian likes Santa. She looks so much like Matt in the pic it's scary. I'm always amazed about how similar they are. Not only looks but temperment.

SO Todd came home Chri9stmas morning at 6 am and waited for everyone to get up. Matthew was up first of course and we had a hard time holding him off. We actually had to wake Mia up at 7:30 because she was not waking on her know very well despite our noise.

The kids enjoyed opening all their gifts. Mia had so much fun opening her gifts. Matthew enjoyed his as well but it's important to note that according to a relative he described his gifts as not being everything he asked for but pretty good just the same. I spent a vast majority of Christmas day opening this and that and trying very hard to keep the house looking like a bomb went off in it.

I bought special Santa wrap for each child . . . Mia was the blue, Matt was the green and Gillian was the red. Poor Gillian got the shaft this year. There was only two under the tree for her . . . but a day or so later I realized I had forget about a gift so she actually got three presents. Not that she cared because she looked like this the whole time:

Yup she was my happy girl. She enjoyed her toys . . so did Mia and Matt. It's funny to see how much they enjoy other toys as much as their own. :)

That was so cute watching Mia in the video. She really was excited. As they get older, it is fun watching them as they understand more and more.

I am glad you guys had a good Christmas.
