We had such fun today! First I have to start out by saying how absolutely FABULOUS the kids were today!!!!
so here's the run-down of our day . . . they slept IN! WOOHOO! What a great way to start the Saturday! They are usually up faithfully by 6:30 but today Matthew didn't come upstairs until 7:15 and Mia was a bit later. This is may still seem early to many but it is truly a blessing to get even 30 minutes more of sleep. Gillian had a pretty good night too!
I hopped in the shower while they all watched TV on my bed. There was no crying while I was in the shower! That is another blessing!!!
Then we headed to the grocery store which can be an emotionally and physically draining adventure. However all the kids were totally great! I can't sing their praises enough and I was sure to point out how great they were doing while we were there! I employed the tactic of getting them to help me put various items in the cart. Worked like a charm! Also the fishie crackers did hurt ;)
Then Matthew had a birthday party to go to from 1 - 4. So we dropped him off and by the time we got back home Mia and Gillian were both asleep. So I moved Mia to her bed and kept Gillian in her carseat but brought her in the house. Gillian slept until 2:30 and Mia until 3.
Mia's newest favourite show is the Mickey's Clubhouse. She loves to says, "Oh TOODLES!! " LOL And of course Mickey and Minnie(her stuffies) have to go everywhere with us.
So off we go to get Matthew from his party. He had an awesome time! Mia was very happy to see him. It's like a love/hate thing. Sometimes she can't even have him near her and other times she's all, "Where's Matthew? What's Matthew doing?" and being super clingy with him.
The it was time to do some Halloween decorating! I love, love LOVE Halloween!!! It's almost my favourite holiday! Mia had the best time helping me crumple up paper and stuff the plastic ghost bags. She loved putting the ghosts on the tree in the front yard. I should have taken pics but I was so busy doing stuff I couldn't go grab the camera!
Anyway it was a great day had by all. I'm looking forward to doing the actually trick-or-treating part.

Wow, all three being good at the same time? I only have two and that is a rare occurrence. Very impressive. And the "Oh Toodles" comment is so adorable.
