So I stayed home today from work. I probably could have worked but I've just been so tired lately. I've been trying to pick a "good" day to take off for almost a week now. A "good" day is a day with no meetings or special events and it's an easy day to plan for. I would have taken yesterday but I was teacher-in-charge in the morning. I hadn't completely decided today was the day until about 4 am this morning when Gillian started doing her usually fussing and rolling around on the bed. Then I was completely sure I was going to take the day when Todd put Mia in the bed with us at 5. No more sleep whatsoever after that.
Gillian's sleep habits have been taking a toll on me. So much so that on Sunday while I was driving with the kids to pick up Todd, I zoned out and had to slam on the brakes or I would have rear-ended another car. Very scary! Another reason for this much needed day off.
I did manage to get a couple hours sleep today. It probably should have been more but I got caught up on the computer this morning.
I love the internet but after I do my usual websites I am at a loss for what to do within this infinite realm. I always go check out my celebrity gossip sites, catch up with my friends, look up anything that has recently been on my mind and then I start to get bored.
Youtube has started to catch my interest of late and today it rekindled my love for an old TV program I used to watch religiously. You guys are probably going to think I'm nuts (lol) but it was Buffy The Vampire Slayer. I loved loved LOVED that show. So sad when it ended.
Anyway I ended watching an A&E special about it in 5 minute increments via youtube today. Then I had to watch some snippits of my favourite episode, the musical Once more time with feeling . .

I hope you get some more sleep. That is pretty scary about the incident in the car. That is the worst feeling wanting sleep so bad but not being able to.
I am glad you were able to take the day off though.
You know? I find that Buffy is pretty popular among bloggers! LOL. Buffy and Harry Potter seem to be kind of universal. Haha! I loved Buffy, but in the earlier days. I was so bummed when Angel left and I didn't watch much after that. I always watched for that storyline.
Oh Junie, I hope Gillian starts sleeping better for you. That car incident is scary. I am glad you were able to take the day off and relax...and sleep.
Can you believe I never watched Buffy! Not even 1 eposide.
