Costumes, puking and teeth! Oh My!

Interesting weekend.

Yesterday morning I decided to take Mia to Walmart so she could choose her costume. I found a Dora costume which I wasn't crazy about but she said at one point that was what she wanted to be. Then we started looking at the pretty princess dresses so I found a nice one(that lights up even) and asked her which she really wanted: Dora or the princess dress. She chose the princess dress! I was so proud! LOL I let her try it on when we got home and she loved it! She was twirling around and staring at herself in the mirror!

Then she went down for her nap. That was at about 12. I was surprised to note that as 3 pm neared she still was not up. It's not totally unheard of for her to sleep 3 hr but lately 1.5 -2 hrs has been the norm. So I went in to wake her up. She didn't want to get up. She was very groggy. I left her to ease herself back into wakefulness but about 10 minutes later heard her crying. When I went in she was covered in puke. Poor thing continued to puke every 2 hours. She was also burning up so right after a puke I managed to get some advil into her. She slept all night without issue.

On the couch which is thankfully scotchgarded.

Gillian had a terrible night though. She was up so much! Too much! Maybe it was teething pain because yesterday I discovered this . . .

Can you see it? Kristin's pics were way better! But it's there! Matthew had his first tooth at 4 months but Gillian is running a close second at 5 months. Mia didn't get a tooth until 8 months.

This was probably the source of our recent sleepless nights and it didn't even occur to me. Oh and Gillian was sporting a raging fever today too. Thankfully no puking like Mia and she continued to eat up all her bottles. Please pray Matthew doesn't get sick?? I sooooooo tired. I'm tempted to call in sick Monday but I've got a meeting that I really should be there for. *sigh*

My sick little monkey(stunned by the flash)

Update on Matthew: He had a good day on Thursday but another bad day on Friday. I spoke to his teacher on Wednesday and she wanted to speak to the special eucation teacher. Whatever. I'm calling on Monday and TELLING her I want a communication book for Matthew. I hope we will see some progress in his behaviour soon.

House update: We are never going to sell this damn house! The house on the corner which is very similar to ours sold. You can imagine how upset I was. Our realtor keeps calling and asking for showings at the worse possible times. So we've probably lost out on a few potential buyers. I don't know what to do. I'm already at my wits end. This sucks.

I hope everyone starts feeling better soon and that Matt doesn't get it at all.

Keep us posted on the schooling situation. Why did she want to call the SpEd teacher?

I hate it when kiddos get sick. No fun for anyone. Thank goodness Mia slept through all night even being sick.

Hopefully Gillian's sleepless nights was due to the teething. Have you tried unswaddling yet??

I loved Mia's costume!! Very pretty costume for a very pretty girl.

Sorry to hear about Matthew. I hope the teacher will work with yall.

And oh man does house selling stink!! Sending you tons of house selling dust your way.

Hope you can get the communication book set up for Matthew, it only makes sense-good luck! And ditto Kyal, why the Special Ed intervention?

Poor Mia, she looks so pitiful, hoping the puking is complete and she is back to her Princess self!

Gillian seriously has the most beautiful eyes! Who could look at a tooth, with eyes like that? ;)
