It was good!! He got a nice big happy face note and there were no buts!!! WOOHOO! He said he had a good day today too but it was a supply teacher today. Call me skeptical but most kids misbehave for the supply. It's like an unwritten rule somewhere . . . so hoping for another good day tomorrow to round out the week!(no school on Friday for professional development for teachers). He was very proud and happy with himself. I could tell and I made my happiness known BIG TIME!
I'm having a sad day. My good friend who was supposed to be married on October 13th was just diagnosed with leukemia. I am so sad for her. I have too much negative experience with cancer to feel things will turn out good for her. But I'm praying. I spoke to her tonight and she will be on constant chemo for 7 days. I have to see her tomorrow before her immune system shuts down. She has an 8 yo little girl who needs her very badly. My heart hurts thinking about it.

Oh, I hadn't heard that it is leukemia. I'm so sorry. That makes me sad for all of them, her little girl especially. :(
But I'm glad Matthew had a good day. Yay!
(((Hug))) nice, happy ones for Matt's good day. Big ones for your friend.
I am so sorry for your friend. I can't even imagine. Me heart goes out to her and her family.
Regrading Matthew....that is awesome!!!! YAY Matthew :)
I'm so sorry about your friend. I wish the news had been good.
Good job, Matt! Do you think he has a problem with his teacher that is causing him to act out when she is there? Or maybe today he just worked EXTRA hard to be good. Either way tell him we're proud!
That is great about Matthew.
However, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. That must be terrifying for them. Please keep us posted on how she's doing.
