Weekend

Here I am relaxing before I head off to bed. Yesterday was a busy day. We had a showing and since we haven't had one of those for quite awhile(probably the last one was beginning of July), the house need a lot of pick up and clean. The showing was at 11:30 am and since she only called at 9 Friday night to tell us about it, we didn't have much time. Todd worked until 4 am and I let him sleep until 9 so that he could help. I think it turned out okay. The only thing we didn't get to was cutting the grass and picking up the dog poop. Oops. Oh well. We have not heard any feedback yet but our realtor doesn't usually find out on the weekend. Since we haven't heard it's probably a no go with this potential buyer. It's so hard to do showings now that I'm working. We won't do any showings past 6:30 pm because I don't want to get the kids off their night routine and day showings are only okay if Todd is off which varies greatly since he does 4 on 4 off. When he's working showing are not possible at all because of the dog. The weekends are usually fine though. *sigh* So needless to say it's a pain. I'm sure our realtor is annoyed with us but that is the way it has to be.

After we left we went and picked up a bumbo seat for Gillian. I never got one for Mia. Bumbos cost well over $60 here and I got mine off the board swap shop for $40! I'm so pleased! Gillian likes it in moderation. She has to be in the mood.

Oh and that thing in Mia's mouth is a bird whistle that was about to be destroyed by me. Grrrrrrrr







It's a cool chair. Not sure if it would have been worth $60+ but I'm positive I'll be able to sell it in a few months for what I paid for it. Mia calls it "The Bum-Bum" chair. hehehe

We went to the mall too and walked around for a bit. I got Gillian some long sleeved onsies and matching pants from TCP. And of course I HAD to buy Mia a shirt and pants set even though she seriously does NOT need anymore clothes. I'm an addict.

Today Mia had a good time playing with her stuffies. Well they aren't all her stuffies. It's crazy the amount of stuffed animals we've collected over the years and we hardly bought any of them!!

She was getting pretty frustrated with that rabbit. He just wouldn't sit!! That's not even a fourth of the stuffies the kids have. Most are technically Matthews but Mia has acquired many in her own right!

Todd watched the kids in the afternoon and I went shopping by MYSELF! Yeah baby! I bought some clothes for ME too! It was fun.

So all in all a good weekend. :)
