Ugh I survived!

My first day back at work. So bittersweet. Love my job, hated leaving my baby. It went okay. I just couldn't think about how her big eyes are constantly on me, needing me. She did good today though, thankfully. I called twice and neither time did I hear her crying in the background. When I came to pick her and Mia up, she was happy and smiling. So sweet. She's such a sweetie. Most of the evening she wouldn't let me put her down. I didn't mind. I love holding her. She loves me holding her too.

Matthew had his first day of grade one today! Holy Cow! He had a good day. So he said anyway. lol I wrote him a little note to tell him good luck and how much we all love him! But he totally missed seeing the note in his lunch! Silly guy! Oh well, I guess I'll have to surprise him another day.

Mia had a good day to but she was so whiny after I picked her up. She wanted to be carried when we got home but gosh she's heavy! I think she might have been tired. We are getting up earlier than we used to in the summer. Also she needs to get back into the swing of things. Little things like that can set her off. Hopefully she'll be her old self in a few days.

Here's a pic of my munchkin.

And the big munchkins.

I guess this really means that summer is over. I sure DON'T miss going to school. That would be so hard to leave my baby to go back to work. But she has the most adorable eyes to make any day much, much better.

I know that must be so hard...going back to work. Just look at what you have to come home to afterwards. Such beautiful children!

The first day is always the hardest. Each day will get a tad easier. I am so glad she did well. She does have the most beautiful, blue eyes!!And I still can't get over how much she looks like Mia.
Beautiful kiddos :)

That Gillian sure is a cutie. Those eyes! Wow.

Things will get easier as time goes on. Glad she did well. It always takes a bit of time to adjust back into school mode.
